Why does the image of Clara's healing hands keep showing up again and

It shows you that nothing comes easy. Like when she can't talks but she continues to triumph through. Also things are hard for her so that shows that nothing comes easy.
I Think healing hands kept on repeating because she wouldn't believe she had healing hands because her brother wouldnt walk. When Davie walked to the barn she was crying because she would now more believe that she had healing hands. When she was born David would always be with Clara and told her she had healing hands.
