Zack Track Banquet

Congratulations to Zack on a great track season. He is definitely a sprinter, and wants to run again next year. I've been running after him since he learned how to walk, and he just gets faster by the day.

Last night was the track banquet at UD Jesuit. All the runners, throwers and jumpers were honored, along with the coaches. Dinner was catered by a restaurant in Detroit called Z's Villa. The salad bar, spring rigatoni, and mostaccioli and meatballs were delicious. There was cake for dessert, with the team picture on top of the cake.

I was proud of Joberts alumnus Don Rea, also a freshman runner, who earned a varsity letter. It is difficult to earn a letter as a freshman. Don runs the 400 and 800 races. A runner has to be the top runner in his event in order to earn a letter. Great job, Don!
